HDR is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Building Engineering Services Business Group located in Chicago, IL. Our team provides integrated facility and infrastructure design services, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, and Site Civil Engineering. This role will focus on Tech/Media/Telecom, Data Centers, and Mission Critical buildings and infrastructure.
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the growth, operations, and technical leadership of the electrical team. Key responsibilities include design, staff development and mentoring, workload management, profitability, morale, and quality control. This individual will engage with clients and the engineering community, collaborating with the BES Business Group Manager to build strong external and internal client relationships. Additional duties involve marketing, project planning, and representing HDR in the local industry.
Travel and extended stays at project sites are required.
