Job summary

Martik Brothers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.

This role collaborates with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to keep jobs on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The candidate will assist with on-site supervision, bid preparation, contract administration, and documentation, ensuring progress and quality across multiple sites in the Pittsburgh

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with basic office/project management software.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and on-site personnel across active job sites daily.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects moving.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Support scheduling of labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Help prepare and maintain job files, estimates, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Support bid preparation and contract administration.
• Assist with resolving on-site issues and escalating as needed.
