Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Detroit, MI. This on-site, permanent role supports planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and design teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget while upholding quality and safety standards. A strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with project management software platforms.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

Summary of Role / Responsibilities
