Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with a well-established, employee-owned General Contractor to recruit an Assistant Project Manager. The selected candidate will support multifamily construction efforts, assist with budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and vendor coordination, while advancing within a company that values internal promotion.

Ideal candidates bring multifamily project experience, familiarity with Procore or similar CM software, and strong organizational and communication skills.

I'm partnering with a well-established,employee-owned General Contractor with a strong presence throughout Ohio and the Midwest. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and work alongside experienced construction professionals on multifamily developments valued at $30M+.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Assist Project Managers in overseeing multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Support project budgets, schedules, cost tracking, and forecasting.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, and project stakeholders.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
Assist with subcontractor buyout, procurement, and contract administration.
Participate in owner meetings and project progress updates.
Work closely with field leadership to maintain project schedules, quality, and safety standards.
Multifamily construction experience is REQUIRED.
Experience working on multifamily projects valued at $20M+ is highly preferred.
Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar construction management role.
Strong understanding of ground-up multifamily construction, project sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
