Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is critical in coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, technical construction knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
• Help manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and punch lists.
• Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project execution.
• Track project progress, budget status, and schedule updates; prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Support procurement efforts by soliciting bids, preparing scopes of work, and managing subcontractor agreements.
• Attend on-site meetings to monitor progress and address issues proactively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety standards and ensure compliance with job site safety protocols.
• Assist in the management of quality control, project documentation, and closeout processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of construction experience, full-time, in a project coordination role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain attention to detail.
