Job summary

Leisure Care seeks an Assistant Program Supervisor to join our team in a senior living community. You will assist in delivering a range of activities that engage residents’ body, mind and spirit, and help manage the activity calendar and event execution.

You’ll also help coordinate local transportation, decorate for events, source entertainment, and build relationships with external community partners to enhance resident enrichment.

Qualifications

• Experience in programs, planning activities and working with seniors.
• Ability to plan and execute events and activities for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing a range of activities to satisfy residents’ body, mind and spirit.
• Assist with the activity calendar including planning and executing events.
• Help schedule community bus service for local trips (shopping, medical, scenic trips).
• Decorate the community for theme events in a tasteful manner.
• Research and schedule entertainment for events.
• Maintain relationships with local sources (senior centers, religious groups, libraries, hospitals, schools, local merchants).

We are now seeking an Assistant Program Supervisor to join our team!

What You'll Do

• Assist with providing an array of activities and programs to satisfy the body, mind and spirit of the residents.
• Assists with the activity calendar including planning and executing events.
• May help with creating schedules for community bus service including local shopping, medical visits, scenic and destination trips.
• Decorating the community in a tasteful manner for various theme events.
• Research and schedule entertainment for events.
• Maintain a relationship with outside sources as resources for resident activities i.e., local senior centers, religious groups, libraries, hospitals, high schools and local merchants.
