Job summary

Advocates in Framingham, MA seeks an Assistant Program Manager to support the Program Manager in a group home setting. The role supervises Direct Support staff and helps ensure smooth caregiver services for adults with developmental disabilities. The starting rate is $20.25/hour with a second shift schedule (Sun–Wed).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; two years’ related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; sound judgment.
• Must have basic computer knowledge; valid driver's license and access to insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals we support are treated with dignity and respect.
• Assist with supervision of staff and promote self-advocacy and person-centered goals.
• Develop and monitor community-centered opportunities for all individuals.
• Schedule and attend medical, dental, psychiatric and other appointments as needed.
• Complete progress notes and documentation.
• Monitor staff scheduling for program coverage and efficiency.
• Audit financial records and assist with monthly reports.
• Ensure accuracy of medication administration following MAP procedures.
• Lead and attend staff meetings as appropriate.
