We're looking for a collaborative Assistant Program Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Supporting the construction of life sciences facilities located in Manhattan, NY, you'll be responsible for analyzing and developing reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the client by applying proven project management techniques. Your ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a must to be successful at this role.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and develop reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, and invoices.
  • Assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls.
  • Provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and add value to the client.
  • Apply proven project management techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of related construction project management experience with construction building projects
  • 5+ years managing all phases of construction work and performing in a supervisory capacity
  • Working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
  • Analysis of technical/legal questions and analysis of cost
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and obtain project’s technical cost and schedule objectives
  • Thorough knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document control, forecast scheduling and costs, preparation of change order review, and review of payments
  • Experience with laboratory & technical facilities and/or research & development facilities
Additional qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in architecture, engineering or a related field
  • PE license
  • Registered Architect
  • OSHA 30 Certification
Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $145,000.00 to $158,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
