Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the Hartford area to lead AEC projects from conception through completion, ensuring they stay on time and within budget.

You will oversee construction, develop budgets, schedules, and project controls, and resolve complex program challenges. The ideal candidate has 6+ years as a PM in AEC, plus 5+ years in K-12 or higher education projects, with strong leadership and client relationship skills.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the AEC industry.
  • 5+ years experience with K-12 or higher education building construction and renovation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, and project delivery methods.
  • Strong people leadership skills along with building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Thorough knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document control, forecast scheduling and costs, preparation of change order review, and review of payments.

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager in Wethersfield, CTwho thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. You’ll be responsible for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.You’ll manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project related challenges.

You’ll be responsible for analyzing and developing reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the client by applying proven project management techniques.Your ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a must to be successful at this role.

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture, and Engineering discipline, or Construction Management
  • 6+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the AEC industry

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $155,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
