Job summary

Jacobs in New York, NY seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale construction programs from conception through completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and aligning with client objectives.

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager in New York, NYwho thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. You’ll be responsible for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.You’ll manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project related challenges.

You’ll be responsible for analyzing and developing reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the client by applying proven project management techniques. Your ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a must to be successful at this role.

Here’s what you’ll need
  • Project Manager (P/C) shall possess, at a minimum, 8 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects
  • A minimum of four years’ experience shall be as an Assistant Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million with an extensive knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documents
  • Must be able to manage the various projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facility
  • The Project Manager shall have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application
  • Possess an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Ideally, you’ll have:
  • Ability to manage the various projects using established controls and procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers, and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facility

The base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
