Job summary

NuPath, Inc. in Lowell, MA is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to oversee program operations and support individuals with disabilities.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, compassion, and hands-on coordination in a residential setting. You will supervise relief staff, assist with hiring and training, teach daily living skills, administer medications, document needs for medical appointments, and coordinate residential activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field required or 2 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• CPR, First Aid, MAP certification required.
• Valid MA/NH driver's license required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain all required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Relate, teach, and further develop skills with the people served and their families.
• Assist with coordinating relief coverage and oversee staff scheduling.
• Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff, work study and interns.
• Teach daily living skills, administer medications, and document medical or appointment needs.

Schedule: 40 hours Monday and Tuesday 3p-11p, Thursday 10a-6p, Friday 3p-11p and Saturday 9a-5pSalary Range:$24.51

Job Responsibilities..

• This position must be able to successfully relate, teach, and further develop skills with the people served, engage positivelywith members of the household families, and respect and implement the NuPath Mission.
• Assist with coordinating Relief coverage, maintain a pool of qualified Relief staff, orient/train Relief staff & oversee staff scheduling.
• Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff, work study & other student interns.
• Teach daily living skills, administer medications & train individuals in self-med procedure; communicate & document individual needs for medical, dental, and psych.appointments or issues.
• Coordinate residential activities and assist with all aspects of Program Management and Operations.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Potential candidates must have a valid MA or NH Driver's License.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain all required certifications.
• Candidates should also have completed their Bachelor's Degree is Psychology or a related field; 2 years of experience in the field will be considered in lieu of degree.
• CPR, First Aid, Prevent and MAP certification required.
