Job summary

Wayside Youth in Framingham, MA seeks an experienced Assistant Program Director to lead a dedicated team serving youth in a residential setting. You will oversee programming, supervision, scheduling, and compliance, with on-call responsibilities and active participation in management meetings.

Candidates should have supervisory or managerial experience with youth, strong communication skills, and background in advocacy, trauma-informed practice, and MAP-related processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work in residential youth settings or supervise/managerial experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MAP, trauma-informed practice, staff training, and hiring practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programming and staff supervision; on-call coverage; coordinate staff scheduling; ensure compliance with licensing and certifications.
• Maintain contact with guardians and collaterals; manage case coordination and medication needs; lead staff meetings and role modeling on the floor.
• Ensure facility supplies, inspections, and Rehab compliance as applicable; support performance evaluations.
