Job summary

Wayside Youth in Framingham is seeking a Program Director for Residential Services. You will oversee a Male Residential Unit on the campus, directing staff, ensuring quality client care, and maintaining compliance with licensing and agency policies.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and fiscal management, with a salary range of $60,000–$65,000 plus a sign-on bonus. Experience in residential services and DCF systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred, but not required.
• Minimum five years experience in the field and three years in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of DCF Residential Programs and experience supervising staff in residential programs.
• Budget and fiscal management; strong commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Care Supervisors and staff; conduct timely performance evaluations.
• Address risk management and compliance issues; document and notify per policy.
• Oversee case management responsibilities for all staff.
• Manage staffing and expenses within budgeted expectations; ensure required ratios.
• Attend to facility or safety issues; complete monthly inspection reports.
• Provide trainings around behavior support and trauma-informed techniques.
