Emory University is seeking an Assistant Director for the Biological Discovery through Chemical Innovation initiative. The Assistant Director will provide overall program management and coordination for the Biological Discovery through Chemical Innovation (BDCI) initiative, including all administrative duties, project management, budget administration, coordinating interdisciplinary teams, managing multiple stakeholders, preparing reports, and drafting/submitting grants and publications. A major effort for this position will be managing an incoming NIH predoctoral training grant (T32) – responsibilities to include overall program management, data tracking and analysis, progress report preparation, event coordination, communication management, and more to meet the program’s needs. The candidate is expected to have a strong background in scientific training, coupled with a passion for scientific program management and communication. Lastly, the candidate must feel comfortable managing and working with a multidisciplinary team of biologists, chemists, and physician scientists.
