Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or related field.
• 4 years of full-time work experience in a community program serving clients with mental illness.
• At least 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coverage scheduling and staffing coverage.
• Make recommendations for program improvement and design.
• Ensure productivity standards to maintain fiscal viability of the program.
• Coordinate duties with the Program Director.
• Cover for absent staff to cover open shifts if needed.
• Maintain petty cash account.
• Conduct staff file audits and maintain personnel files per licensing requirements; conduct resident satisfaction interviews.
• Ensure site safety coordinator maintains monthly site inspections and safety records.
• Oversee medication distribution and related charting.
• Document significant events in the shift log related to client treatment outcomes.
• Process Denial of Rights forms monthly.
• Provide crisis intervention and on-the-spot counseling consistent with the program philosophy.
• Ensure safety, health, and well-being of staff and residents.
• Meet staffing/documentation requirements of CCL Title 22/17; manage time-off and off-site trainings when short-staffed.
• Provide timely reports to County and Administration.
