Unity House of Troy currently seeks an Assistant Program Director for our Domestic & Sexual Violence non-residential program in Troy, NY. The role is full‑time and hourly, with a sign-on bonus potential.

Responsibilities include emergency assistance, crisis intervention, referrals, advocacy, and coordinating on-call coverage. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), NYS driver’s license, and several years of related experience in social services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with related social service experience.
• Valid NYS driver’s license required and reliable transportation.
• Experience in domestic or sexual violence services is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergency assistance and crisis intervention for victims.
• Offer emotional support, safety planning, and referrals to services.
• Navigate survivor needs and assist with access to entitlements.
• Advocate for victims with compassion and understanding of barriers.
• Coordinate scheduling and routine administrative tasks.
• Complete contract and regulatory compliance activities.
• Participate in rotating on-call system including nights/weekends.
