Job summary

Capable Without Conditions, LLC (CWC) Vacaville, CA, seeks an Assistant Administrator to support program operations for the Community Crisis Home (CCH). You will ensure regulatory compliance with Title 17/22 and DDS requirements, supervise direct care staff, and assume Administrator Designee duties in the absence of the Program Administrator.

You will maintain 24/7 readiness, coordinate licensing activities, and promote a trauma-informed, person-centered approach in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in human services preferred.
• Pass DOJ/FBI background clearance and licensing clearances.
• Valid CA driver’s license and insurance; good driving record.
• Minimum 1 year direct care/supervision with individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
• Active ARF Administrator Certification from CDSS and maintained in good standing.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain on hire).
• Crisis intervention certification (e.g., CPI, Ukeru).
• Complete DSP-1 and DSP-2 training; complete RSO with Regional Center on hire.
• Strong knowledge of Title 17 and Title 22 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administration to ensure licensing compliance.
• Support policies and practices aligned with Program Design and Facility Plan.
• Ensure IPP/ISP/IBSP and medical/psychiatric plans are followed.
• Prepare for licensing inspections and Regional Center monitoring.
• Monitor safety, structure, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Serve as Administrator Designee when Program Administrator is absent.
• Provide supervision and coaching to direct care staff.
• Assist with performance management and staff development.
• Maintain staffing levels and required staff-to-resident ratios.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
