The candidate will teach first-year literature and writing courses and co-lead the Center for Writing for an initial three-year term with reduced teaching load. Qualified applicants will have a PhD in English or related field; ABD nearing completion considered.

Qualifications

• PhD in English, Rhetoric/Composition, Writing Studies, or closely related discipline; ABD nearing completion considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach six courses per year in writing and literature.
• Co-direct the Center for Writing for a three-year term with reduced load.
• Engage in advising and service to the department, university, and community.
