Candidates specializing in writing center theory and practice are encouraged, especially those with subspecialties including inclusive pedagogy and multilingual learners. The successful candidate will co-direct the Center for Writing for an initial three-year term with a reduced teaching load;

Qualifications

• PhD in English, Rhetoric/Composition, Writing Studies, or closely related discipline; ABD nearing completion considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach first-year literature and writing courses in the English core curriculum.
• Co-direct the Center for Writing with a reduced teaching load during the initial three-year term.
• Advise undergraduate students and participate in service to the department, university, and community.
