Qualifications

• PhD in English, Rhetoric/Composition, Writing Studies, or closely related discipline; ABD near completion considered.
• Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and potential for productive research.
• Interest in writing center theory and practice.
• Specializations include instruction for neurodiverse and multilingual learners; inclusive pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Teach first-year literature and writing courses in the English core curriculum.
• Teach a Writing Center Theory & Practice undergraduate course and a Teaching College English graduate course.
• Contribute to courses in the undergraduate and MA program in English; collaborate on Center for Writing initiatives.
• Co-direct the Center for Writing with a colleague for an initial three-year term; reduced teaching load during co-directorship.
