An earned doctoral degree (upon appointment) in nutrition or a related scientific field.
POSITION: Assistant Professor of Nutritional Neuroscience (45% Research, 50% Teaching, 5% Service), 9-month academic year tenure-track appointment in the Department of Nutritional Sciences in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.
To be considered for the position of Assistant Professor, the applicant must hold an earned doctoral degree (upon appointment) in nutrition or a related scientific field. The applicant must have an academic background and have demonstrated research productivity in the area of nutritional neuroscience. The applicant should have demonstrated scholarly competence and research productivity, or the potential for such, and show evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates with at least two years of post-doctoral research experience and evidence of preparation and submission of external research grants are preferred.
