Assistant Professor of Instruction, Human Development/Educational Foundations
The School of Education at Xavier University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instruction specializing in Human Development and Educational Foundations, beginning Fall 2027. This position will teach foundational coursework required across every School of Education licensure program, undergraduate and graduate, including courses such as Introduction to Education, Human Development, and the Student Teaching Seminar. The position also provides service within the School of Education, including academic advising, oversight of the student disposition process in collaboration with the Field Coordinator, and support for state and national accreditation. This position reports to School of Education leadership. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
The teaching expectation is 24 credit hours annually for this non-tenure-track faculty position.
