Weber State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Computational Chemistry to begin July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will help integrate computational tools into the undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry curriculum and mentor undergraduates in research projects.

Qualifications

• PhD or ABD with expected completion by July 2027.
• Strong background in computational chemistry and related methods.
• Experience integrating computation into undergraduate education.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergrad courses (lectures and labs) based on expertise and department needs.
• Establish an active, undergraduate-friendly computational chemistry research program.
• Serve on department and university committees.
