Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, or eligibility for Board certification, is required.

Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows within the Division of Emergency Medicine.
2. Mentoring trainees, including fellows and graduate students, and supervising research staff.
3. Providing direct patient care in an Emergency Department with an annual volume of 100,000 visits.
4. Opportunities for clinical employment at affiliate institutions such as Virtua Voorhees in Southern New Jersey and the upcoming King of Prussia Pediatric Hospital.
5. Engaging in research activities, including patient enrollment, developing a research portfolio, and contributing to grant efforts as principal or co-investigator.
