Assistant Professor-Clinician Educator- Center for Autism Research-CHOP

Join to apply for the Assistant Professor-Clinician Educator- Center for Autism Research-CHOP role at University of Pennsylvania.

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in computer vision as applied to brain imaging data and video data capturing non-verbal communication (facial expressions, gestures, body movements). Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and a PA Psychology License.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Teaching clinicians in diagnosing co-occurring mental health concerns in neurodivergent children and adolescents, and training pediatric and psychiatry residents, psychology fellows, graduate students, interns, and postdocs. Clinical supervision for psychology trainees is also expected.
  2. Providing psychotherapy for mood and anxiety concerns among neurodivergent children.
  3. Conducting research or scholarship on affective processes among neurodivergent children and adolescents, either as an investigator or collaborator.
