Job summary

Augusta University in Georgia invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine. The candidate will lead the Brain Organoid Core, develop organoid systems, and provide scientific and technical support for collaborative research using human iPSC-derived models.

Responsibilities include culture and differentiation of iPSCs, generation of iPSC lines, and application of diverse brain organoid models.

Qualifications

  • PhD from an accredited institution.
  • Early level faculty with appropriate postgraduate training.
  • USG faculty employment qualifications and standards referenced in the job description.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and apply brain organoid models and human iPSC culture methodologies.
  • Provide scientific expertise and technical support for core operations.
  • Pursue extramural funding to advance the Brain Organoid Core.
  • Collaborate on research projects using iPSC-derived models and organoids.
