Job description

The successful candidate will serve as the Family Medicine physician lead/medical director at the Employee Primary Care clinic, a new facility located in the MultiStory building on grounds at UVA. The incumbent will be responsible for:

1. Providing direct patient care during 7 half-day outpatient sessions per week;
2. Teaching and supervising residents and medical students;
3. Overseeing and guiding the care provided as medical director;
4. Leading quality improvement initiatives;
5. Addressing day-to-day organizational functions as an operations consultant;
6. Supervising and consulting with Advance Practice Providers at this location.

The clinic will offer comprehensive in-person and virtual health and wellness services for UVA employees and UVA Health dependents. • Residency teaching experience or fellowship in family medicine.
