• 404: Wednesday - Saturday (week 1) / Thursday - Saturday (week 2): 6pm- 6am

Job Description - Assistant Production Supervisor: Based on site in Florence, KY

Do you have experience working on the Production Floor? Jabil is rapidly expanding and has a need for multiple Assistant Production Supervisors for all shifts to work on-site in Florence, KY. The Assistant Production Supervisor will oversee all production processes and assist the Supervisor in establishing production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

What can you expect to do?

• Monitor materials and carts in unmarked locations. If any item is unidentified on the shop floor, ensure taping/labeling is completed in a timely manner. If you are unsure how to address a unique scenario, escalate and drive the issue to closure.
• Physically observe an operator performing their job. Compare what you see to the visual aid. Investigate discrepancies.
• Hold leadership, indirect/direct labor teams, accountable to the documented process.
• Escalate issues you're unsure how to handle.
• Adhere to Company Policies: Familiarize yourself with and strictly follow all company policies, especially those related to employee privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Improve Leadership and Communication: Exercise leadership with tact, empathy, and respect. Promote an inclusive and supportive work environment through open and honest communication.
• Ensure new documentation in JDOC is accompanied by training sign-off sheets within 24 hours.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and resource utilization.
• Review production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify causes of nonconformity and operational issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Applied Science, or Engineering preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• At least 2 years' experience on the Production Floor or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of global and regional logistics operations is a plus.
• Financial and analytical skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in PC use, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and email skills are required.
