Job description

Overview:

The successful candidate will exhibit leadership, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with opportunities for career progression.

They will support the Department Supervisor in overseeing the Aerospace Solenoids Department to produce products that conform to part specifications, quality standards, procedures, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce company rules and regulations
• Review set-ups and perform manufacturing inspections
• Assign daily work tasks
• Create job packets (routes, prints, work instructions, etc.)
• Create and submit pick lists
• Issue materials to jobs
• Make material moves
• Review jobs for labor and material accuracy
• Review time and attendance daily
• Assist in reviewing and posting department KPIs
• Support, assist, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform 6S audits as required
• Perform direct labor as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year technical degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of production experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience

Skills:

• Basic computer skills
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn Syteline (ERP system)

Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
