What You Get To Do

  • Daily operation of all attractions in assigned zone; ensuring safety, service, and cleanliness levels in assigned areas
  • Team member performance management in accordance with company guidelines
  • Performing work audits on team members to ensure proper training and job readiness
  • Handling guest and team member concerns in a positive manner
  • Role modeling SEA Cornerstones, grooming standards, and strong work ethic
  • Administrative tasks including time card management, compliance, and business reporting
  • Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals
  • Responsible for the development of OJT’s and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures
  • Create and maintain unit’s team rotation grid
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve
  • Respond to guest and ambassador needs
  • Report to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projects
  • Oversee completion of daily opening and closing procedures
  • Utilize problem solving skills to ensure positive guest resolutions as needed
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required

What It Takes To Succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to complete provided American Red Cross lifeguarding/shallow water lifeguarding certification
  • Ability to be trained and certified at all attractions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortability speaking in front of large groups of guests and ambassadors
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the park
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to able to climb stairs
  • Ability to walk in sand
  • Ability to assist in ride testing by riding all park rides
  • Four full days of open availability
  • Availability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and until 3:00 a.m. for seasonal events
