Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives on developing people, improving processes, and achieving results? We are seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching employees, solving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that make a measurable impact.
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, support employee development, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and teamwork.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15-30 production employees and team leads.
Drive daily performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
Provide visible leadership on the production floor and foster a culture of accountability and engagement.
Conduct employee coaching, performance discussions, and development planning.
Support hiring, onboarding, training, cross-training, and succession planning efforts.
Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to eliminate recurring issues.
Monitor production performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions.
Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, HR, and EHS teams to achieve operational objectives.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and company standards.
Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Proven ability to lead and motivate employees while building a positive team culture.
Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to analyze problems, make sound decisions, and prioritize competing demands.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
