1 Resource Group in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Scheduler to help manage the production plan and communicate delivery dates to customers. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

You will interface with the planner, production, and customer service teams, handling daily scheduling, updates on shipping commitments, and timely responses to inquiries to keep customers informed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience as a planner and/or customer service.
• Strong English reading/writing and communication skills.
• Able to perform basic math and count parts for reconciliation.

Responsabilités

• Stay in contact with the 1st shift supervisor/planner and multi-process planner.
• Communicate daily with customers via phone and email to keep them informed about delivery issues.
• Relay customer requests to the planners, gather updated information and reply to the customer.
• Update shipping list daily to ensure shipment is made.
