Cardinal Expo Inc, a Trade Show Exhibit rental company, is looking to hire an Assistant Production Manager to join our team.Servicing clients exhibiting in all major convention cities, Cardinal works together with exhibitors through every stage of the trade show process; from design and coordination to pre-set and onsite installation and dismantle.
The Assistant Production Manager will work with the Production Manager to lead the build team and show reps, working alongside them during production and fabrication, assembly and general upkeep and organization of the warehouse.This supervisor must be able to meet deadlines, work collaboratively with the office staff, have exceptional attention to detail and must be accountable for day-to-day operations of the warehouse, which may mean working nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Job Requirements
- Ability to think mechanically to build exhibits and safely/efficiently pack freight for shipping
- Operation and maintenance of industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts or pallet jacks
- Operation and maintenance of carpentry tools such as drills, saws, routers, and adhesive guns
- Knowledge of safety and caution procedures for working with dangerous tools
- Organization and Inventory Management of components, furniture, supplies and consumables
- Ability to work in a hot/cold/humid environment without health issues
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift over 75 pounds or operate lifts to move heavy pieces
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
