Sensical Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and act as second-in-command to the CM Manager. You will guide supervisors, make operational decisions, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while on the production floor.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement with a focus on staffing, training, and resolving production challenges on the line.

• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, providing hands-on leadership and operational support.

About the Position:

Sensical is seeking a hands-on Assistant Production Manager to support daily manufacturing operations and serve as the second-in-command to the CM Manager.

This is a key leadership role for an experienced manufacturing professional who can guide supervisors and team leads, make sound operational decisions, resolve production challenges, and keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a visible, proactive leader who takes ownership, holds teams accountable, develops people, and is willing to work directly on the production floor when needed. This individual will help drive production performance, maintain quality standards, manage staffing needs, and ensure customer demands are met.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, with occasional Fridays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the CM Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations and provide leadership coverage when the manager is unavailable.

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience leading production teams and supporting supervisors or team leads is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead by example, maintain a strong floor presence, and work alongside the production team when necessary.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and promote accountability.
• Working knowledge of production flow, staffing, changeovers, and performance monitoring.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization.
• Commitment to workplace safety, product quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to changing production demands and respond effectively to operational challenges.
