Job summary

Shield AI seeks an Assistant Product Owner to support the delivery of mission autonomy for the USAF Collaborative Combat Aircraft program. The APO will oversee Shoal 1, manage the product backlog in Jira and Confluence, and ensure alignment with priorities and milestones.

Reporting to the Product Owner/Manager, the APO collaborates with Shoal Lead, Systems Engineering Lead, and four Feature Crew Leads to keep the autonomy implementation package on track, including HMI and cybersecurity aspects,

Responsibilities

• Owns day-to-day health of the Shoal 1 product backlog in Jira and Confluence.
• Maintains an integrated picture of priorities, epics, interfaces, dependencies, and milestones.
• Makes the product legible and accessible to the broader team.
• Collaborates with the Shoal Lead, Systems Engineering Lead, and four Feature Crew Leads.
