Job summary

Price Rite of SCRANTON is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to maximize department sales, protect company assets, and maintain store presentation. Location: Scranton, PA; reports to the Produce Manager / Store Manager.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, strong reading and arithmetic skills, effective communication, and the ability to stand and lift. Compensation ranges from $18 to $26 per hour, with benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and other figures.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
• Ability to follow written/oral/diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maximize department sales and protect company assets.
• Maintain store conditions per company standards and improve profitability.
• Ensure proper merchandising and customer service levels.
• Open/close the store as needed and participate in community activities.
• Develop daily/weekly workload plans and coordinate responsibilities.
