Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Produce Department operations focusing on freshness, quality, and customer service.
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly service and ensure associates have product knowledge.
• Execute corporate merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets, and displays.
• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing produce displays at all times.
• Manage product rotation, remove damaged items, and uphold freshness standards.
• Order, receive, inspect, and store produce following safety guidelines.
• Control shrink through inventory management and waste-reduction strategies.
• Build and manage labor schedules aligned with business needs.
• Train, coach, and develop produce associates while maintaining a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
