Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Produce Department Manager to oversee daily operations of the Produce Department, ensuring freshness, quality, and top-notch service. You will support merchandising programs, displays, inventory control, and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead associates, manage product rotation, and assist with ordering, safety compliance, and labor scheduling to meet business needs. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

Formación

• Experience in produce or fresh-food departments preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop associates and manage priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily Produce Department operations with focus on freshness, quality and customer service.
• Ensure associates demonstrate strong product knowledge and provide knowledgeable service.
• Execute merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets, and promotional displays.
• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing produce displays at all times.
• Assist with product rotation, remove damaged items, and maintain freshness standards.
• Help with ordering, receiving, inspection, and adherence to food-safety guidelines.
• Support labor scheduling to align with business needs.
• Coach and develop team members while maintaining a positive environment.
