The Judicial Branch is a state-funded Branch of Government that offers medical/dental/vision, $20,000 free basic life insurance, a state-matched 156% retirement plan, 13 paid holidays, earned paid vacation and sick leave, and more.
This classification level is responsible for assisting in performing supervision, case planning, and/or monitoring of offenders at high risk to reoffend, including recreational, home, educational, treatment, and community activities. Responsibilities may include assisting in performing interviews for investigative reports; performing curfew checks, drug testing, assessments, and assisting offenders in retaining employment under the supervision of the Chief Probation Officer or designee.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree or 63 hours of coursework from a four-year college; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties listed above.
All educational credits must be from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.
Incumbents may be required to travel.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects. If arm and/or leg controls require exertion greater than Sedentary Work, the job is rated for Light Work.
