Job summary

Reporting to the Building Principal, you will supervise staff, observe teacher performance, and help schedule activities, master calendar, and summer programs. The role requires Indiana Administrator certification and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Indiana Department of Education certification is required.
• Ability to plan and organize.
• Skills in human relations.
• Ability to communicate effectively before groups of students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Formulates student personnel policies.
• Plans and supervises school and student activity programs.
• Disciplines students for attendance and behavior problems.
• Supervises students at assemblies and athletic events.
• Coordinates student activities (clubs, assemblies, homecomings).
• Observes and evaluates teacher performance.
• Supports staff development programs offered by Concord Community Schools.
• Acts as principal when the principal is absent.
• Coordinates supervision of student teachers and calendar management.
• Communicates with custodial services about building use for activities.
• Coordinates student fund-raising activities.
• Supervises summer school activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
