Qualifications

• Experience with special education programs and supports.
• Licensed in Administration or pursuing required licensure.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, families and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Serves as acting principal in the absence of the principal.
• Assists the principal in supervising and evaluating the school's instructional program.
• Strives to continually enhance the instructional process.
• Supervises and evaluates staff to improve performance.
• Promotes professional development and effective learning environments.
• Familiar with teacher evaluation systems, PBIS and PLCs.
• Maintains effective public relations with the community and uses community resources.
• Coordinates special services activities (e.g., screenings, RTI, 504 referrals).
• Oversees Title One programs and school committees.
