Mastery PA in New Jersey seeks an Assistant Principal of School Culture (APSC) to lead and elevate school culture across campuses. The role guides the Mastery School Culture Model, coaching staff on behavior, coordinating character- and achievement-focused programs, and engaging families and the community to support student outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years in urban school setting; at least three in leadership, counseling, or youth development.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead implementation of Mastery’s school culture model to foster a safe, inclusive, achievement-focused environment.
• Manage and develop a culture team (Deans of Students, Attendance Coordinators) to drive attendance and behavior outcomes.
• Oversee systems for positive reinforcement, accountability, and student discipline.
• Apply restorative justice to support accountability and personal growth.
• Oversee extracurricular programs, clubs, and events to boost engagement and leadership.
• Strengthen parent and community relationships to support student success.
• Coach teachers on classroom management and school-wide expectations.
• Provide professional development for a positive, structured learning environment.
• Partner with instructional leaders to align culture with academic goals.
• Maintain consistent leadership presence to reinforce a positive climate.
• Lead crisis prevention and safety interventions with staff training.
• Perform other duties to support school operations and student achievement.
