Mastery Schools seeks an Assistant Principal of School Culture (APSC) on assignment to develop leaders for Philadelphia and Camden campuses. The role leads instructional, cultural and behavioral guidance, coaching teachers, and bridging culture with academics.

The APSC fosters restorative practices, engages parents and community, and supports a pipeline of future school leaders across Mastery campuses. Occasional cross-campus deployment is possible.

• Strong instructional background with effective engagement, lesson structure and classroom management.
• Proficiency in restorative justice and urban behavioral strategies.

• Sense of humor contributing to a positive school culture.

Responsabilités

• Coach teachers in effective classroom management and provide PD aligned to Mastery Instructional model.
• Drive Mastery Charter Schools' vision to maintain a positive, achievement-focused culture.
• Analyze culture data and create action plans.
• Coach Deans of Students to support students and teachers.
• Implement a merit-based accountability and positive reinforcement system.
• Manage disciplinary processes for up to 800 students in a restorative model.
• Oversee scheduling of extracurricular activities and school events.
• Lead weekly student-led community meetings and circles for dialogue and SEL.
• Engage parents and community to create a safe, supportive school environment.
