Job summary

ATX Learning in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) invites applications for an Educational Leader position serving as principal-level support across assigned schools. You will provide instructional leadership and help implement a cohesive educational program aligned with district goals.

The role requires a Masters degree, Tier I/II leadership certification eligibility, and at least three years of teaching experience, preferably at the same level as the administrative position.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in related field required.
• Be eligible for Ed Leadership Tier I certificate field while completing Tier I program requirements for professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in leading and implementing a cohesive educational program specific for the grade levels in assigned schools.
• Provide instructional leadership and assist in building and sustaining a school vision.
• Utilize data to make instructional decisions and monitor curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Oversee teacher evaluation processes and assist in selecting and mentoring staff.
• Communicate with teachers, students, parents and the community to maintain a positive school climate.
