The Assistant Principal is a full-time, on-site leadership role located in Abington, PA, supporting the daily operations and instructional programs of an assigned school within Abington School District. This position collaborates with the Principal and school leadership team to guide curriculum implementation, monitor teaching and learning, and use data to improve student outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising staff, observing classrooms, providing feedback, supporting professional development, and promoting inclusive and equitable practices across the school community. The Assistant Principal helps maintain a safe, orderly, and positive school environment by overseeing student discipline, coordinating attendance and behavioral supports, and engaging families and caregivers in school initiatives. The role also involves participating in school improvement planning, ensuring compliance with district policies and state regulations, and representing the school at meetings, events, and community activities.
