The position emphasizes collaboration with staff to implement instructional programs, manage behavior using PBIS, and assist with crisis interventions as needed.

Formación

• NYS Certification in School District Administration (SBL, SDA, SAS).
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• Knowledge of PBIS and non-violent crisis intervention is helpful.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Assistant Principal of Instructional programs will be responsible for supporting the Principal of the East Learning Center. The Assistant Principal will be expected to demonstrate positive leadership and interpersonal skills and assume additional responsibilities when assigned. The candidate will be responsible for student day-to-day interactions.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• NYS Certification in School District Administration (SBL, SDA, SAS)
• Knowledge of Positive Behavior Intervention, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and anti-bullying programs are helpful, but not mandatory.
• Three years of teaching experience
