# Assistant Preschool Teacher (Sub)Park Center - Glenview, IL 60026## Description***“Recreate” a better life with a career in the field of Parks & Recreation!*****JOB SUMMARY** In the role as a substitute Assistant Teacher, you will be assigned to help in one class daily, may assist in others as needed. Could lead to other subbing hours as well as teaching classes in the Early Childhood programming area. Will be responsible for supervising children in a safe and educational environment, following direction of Lead Teacher, working cohesively with team, being attentive to lesson plans and performing food distribution. We are looking for a team player who has a love for young children along with energetic personality, enthusiasm and willingness to grow with the program. Must also express maturity in thought, work habits and responsibility. **QUALIFICATIONS*** Minimum is 19 years of age with a High School Diploma* Preference is given to applicants with preschool experience in a classroom setting, and prefer lead qualified* Must provide 3 written character references* Professional certification(s) and/or active membership in a professional association desirable.
