Job summary

Ducklings Early Learning Center in West Chester, PA is seeking a warm, energetic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. You will support lead teachers with toddlers, promote safe, nurturing, and stimulating activities, and help daily routines.

We welcome individuals with a high school diploma; Early Childhood Education coursework is preferred. Prior experience with toddlers, knowledge of child development, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
• Prior experience working with toddlers or young children in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Ability to obtain required clearances (PA Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
