Job summary

Oakland Montessori School in Oakland, CA is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to join a hands-on, child-centered program where curiosity and independence are celebrated daily.

You will support lead teachers, supervise preschoolers, foster a safe, inclusive classroom, document progress, and communicate with families. Required ECE units, CPR/First Aid, and a warm, team-oriented demeanor.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool or early childhood age groups preferred.
• Familiarity with Montessori philosophy or early childhood education principles is a plus.
• Minimum 12 ECE units required or in progress.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
