As a Teacher at the Primrose School of Alpharetta East (located at 5425 McGinnis Village Place, Alpharetta, GA 30005), you will help young minds explore, discover, and understand the world around them.

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Teachers to plan and implement a program of activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, following the Primrose Balanced Learning approach.

Our school is an accredited private preschool offering year-round programs for children from infants through elementary age, providing a premier educational child care experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage daily classroom activities for a group of children.
2. Follow all policies and regulations related to health, safety, and child care at local, state, and national levels.
3. Continuously assess each child's developmental needs.
4. Implement approved lesson plans and daily schedules according to the Primrose curriculum.
5. Coordinate parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with the leadership team.
6. Create an attractive, engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and decision-making.
7. Provide positive reinforcement and clear behavioral expectations.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.
9. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
10. Maintain professional appearance as per the employee handbook.
11. Assist with other duties as determined by the Director or designee.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience in infant and early preschool classrooms.
• Availability for full-time shifts Monday through Friday, between 7 am and 6 pm.
• Energetic, fun, and positive attitude.
• Ability to relate well with young children in a fast-paced environment.
• Nurturing, warm, friendly, and patient demeanor.
• Passion for working with children and ability to collaborate with a team.
• Compliance with local child care regulatory requirements.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience preferred.
• Understanding of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for child handling and safety.
